ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
From prototypes and tooling to custom fixturing, Aerotech Machining’s additive manufacturing equipment utilizes Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology. FDM printing works by extruding thermoplastic filaments such as ABS, PLA, PVA, and carbon fiber through a heated nozzle. The heated nozzle melts the material and the printer applies the material in precise layers until the model is complete. Aerotech Machining has the ability to create printed parts based on 3D models supplied by the client, or we can create the model in-house based on the client’s requirements.
